The island of Evia offers the best solution for those who want to enjoy summer vacation near the sea, but don’t want to miss out on all the comfort that the big city offers. Evia is just an hour and 20 min. away from Athens centre, and the best part is that, even though you are in an island, you get the option to drive there as well! The villa is located in the idyllic town of Eretria, a powerful city state during the era of classical antiquity, that is sure to excite the lovers of archaeology. The city was destroyed during the Persian wars, however many of the findings were saved and are still preserved in the Archaeological Museum of Chalkis. Nature lovers will not be disappointed as well! The sea in the area, was voted among the best in EU in terms of clarity and biodiversity.
Prepare to forget everything that you thought you knew about luxury accommodation: Villa Sonar will amaze you with its extreme postmodern design and range of available activities. You can literally spend your whole summer vacation by staying exclusively around the premises, if you so wish. First of all, 3.500 sq.m of lush gardens that open up directly to the beachfront are all there for you to enjoy. Or you can just stay in the house and enjoy the 220 sq.m. salt-water pool (4 meters of depth throughout), with an attached jetted mini pool for children. If swimming is not your thing, then try your luck at sports: there is a fully equipped, standard sized basketball court (500 sq. m.) within the garden. Last but not least, the marble-designed open air amphitheater of the garden is ideal for performing (acting or singing), gather to play games or relax under the tall palm trees and beautiful plantation. 
The design of the villa itself, could very well make cover story in an architectural magazine (and it has numerous times in the past). Its style is extremely unconventional, while the color patterns and furnishing styles are ever changing within the house, giving the feel that every room has a story to tell. 
The villa is built on three levels (connected along with the staircases, with an elevator lift) in a 3,5 acres private fenced plot of land.

On the ground floor there is a massive living room, measuring 250 sq.m. There is also a spacious dining room, decorated with crystals, that can dine up to 14 people. The living area is surrounded by tall modern paintings, uniquely designed furniture and other impressive artwork. 
On this level you will also find a fully equipped luxurious kitchen with all high-end appliances that you may need. The kitchen has its own entrance to the rear side of the garden and has access to the parking space that makes it convenient to move groceries and supplies from a car whenever the guests might go shopping. Finally, on this level there is also a guest WC. 
On the first floor there are three two-level bedrooms and 2 large luxury bathrooms.
Every bedroom is spacious, has plentiful storage and its own wooden staircase.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed for two, a private study at the upper level of it, and an extra-large TV screen facing the bed. The large bathroom that corresponds to this bedroom has a double sink, bidet and a big jetted tub. The other two bedrooms both have double beds on their upper levels and large sofa-beds that makes it possible to support up to 4 guests each. They can be ideal for children since they have ample space and it’s possible to accommodate up to a total of 8 children in these two rooms alone. These bedrooms also have their own mini fridge, large office desk, a desktop computer and flat TV screens. The second full bathroom of the level serving these two rooms, is also equipped with a jetted tub.
The 150 sq.m. veranda (full marble floor) of the first floor is also a joy to behold as it offers incredible views to the gardens, the gulf and the islands near the coast.

The basement of the villa serves primarily as a playroom. There is also a second large dining space, ping pong table, cozy furniture, while the place is surrounded by large paintings.

There is also a garden suite close to the pool outside of the main building, which is totally independent with its own separate entrance, and is a fully equipped studio for 2 guests with a queen-sized bed, its own kitchen and bathroom.
